Ven ๐Ÿ๐Ÿšฒ

Today we finally went to Ven, a must to visit every summer, an island next to Helsingborg! It’s about 4 km from the coast, so we must take the boat to get there (which took at least 40 minutes). I guess most people will rent a bike in order to get around the island, and in my opinion this is the best way! I think there are about 15 different bicycles to choose from, I’ve tried the tandem bike once, but usually the 3-speed bicycle will be good enough! ๐Ÿšฒ

Taken from Wikipedia: Ven (Danish: Hven, older Swedish spelling Hven) is a small Swedish island in the ร˜resund strait, between Scania and Zealand (Denmark). It is part of Landskrona Municipality, Skรฅne County. The island has 371 inhabitants and an area of 7.5 km2 (2.9 sq mi). During the 1930s, the population was at its peak, with approximately 1,300 inhabitants. There are four villages on the island: Bรคckviken, Tuna By, Norreborg and Kyrkbacken. The island is best known as the location of Tycho Brahe’s 16th-century observatories.
